Delightful surprises

It was December 6 and really there were fewer and fewer leaves ( or so I thought) Dallasites are keen on getting their lawns clean. (and fast!)

As I was on my walk, the crepe myrtles had started their shedding and the red color was just so fun. The I realized the reverse side was this creamy buttery color and I quickly arranged a stocking.

The wind was not bad that day so even though I worked quickly, this Leaf Motif actually stayed a little while.

This was when folks said “cards” , “calendars”, “books”! How fun to have art that people are telling me how they want to buy it!
